Prime Minister Najib Razak will give a statement at the extraordinary Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Summit, a special conference to discuss the repercussions of US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, in Istanbul on Wednesday. *Qualitas plans January-February SGX IPO

Malaysias Qualitas Medical Group aims to launch a Singapore Exchange IPO of up to S$200m (RM603.8m) sometime between January and February, according to two persons with knowledge of the plans. We are tentatively looking to lodge the prospectus in January, said one of them. Majority shareholder Southern Capital postponed a similar-sized Bursa Malaysia IPO in March 2015, following tepid response from investors. The IPO was pulled at the premarketing stage. In addition to Malaysia, Qualitas runs healthcare services in Australia, India and Singapore. – The Sun Daily

*LBS Bina to launch projects worth RM1.68b in 1Q18

Property developer LBS Bina Group will launch affordable to mid-market non-landed properties with a cumulative GDV of RM1.68 billion in the first quarter of next year. The projects will include two 1Malaysia Civil Servants Housing projects in Bukit Jalil and Alam Perdana, a Rumahku Selangorku venture in Bandar Saujana Putra 21, Dengkil, and Bukit Jalil Bintang Residence, its managing director Tan Sri Lim Hock San said. – The Edge Markets

*GETS Global to venture into city bus services via acquisition

GETS Global (formerly known as KBES) plans to acquire the entire 79.99% stake held by Putrajaya Leisures & Services Group in loss-making Pengangkutan Awam Putrajaya Travel & Tours for RM1. PAPTT is a public transport service provider in Putrajaya, which is supported by over 170 buses. It also manages the Putrajaya Sentral Terminal, Putrajaya Park and Ride and car parks in various locations in Putrajaya. – The Edge Markets
